Flaxseed masks are recommended by various beauty gurus on Youtube, bloggers and the granny you ignored when she told you to use this sh*t! Masks are a great way to latter on the minerals on your skin and here is how:
- Flaxseeds gel for hair
This is prepared with flaxseeds and water. Make sure the flaxseeds are whole and NOT ground.
Take a saucepan, pour 500 ml of water in.
Next, take a 1/4 cup of whole flaxseeds and pour it in, make sure they are submerged and bring it to a boil.
You should be seeing white foam forming during the boil. Make sure the seeds do not stick to the pan. It takes about 10 minutes from putting fresh water in the pan to the white foaming. The moment you see a mucus trail, turn it of, strain in a airtight jar or something and VOILA!
2. Flaxseed Face Mask
Repeat the same procedure for a gel and then mix with an essential oil that your skin might need.
Jojoba oil, lavender oil and and turmeric are good for dry skin.
Ylang Ylang oil, eucalyptus oil and tea tree oil for oily skin.
The choice is yours!
Flaxseeds eaten everyday will without doubt improve overall health issues, skin issues and hair issues. Mixing your daily food with 2 teaspoons of flaxseeds is a good way to get it inside.
